Lake Mac Brewing Co. first opened its doors in 2020, proudly becoming the original brewery in Morisset and helping put the area on the craft beer map. From day one, it was created as a relaxed, welcoming space where locals and visitors alike could enjoy quality beer, good food, and even better company.
In late 2025, the brewery entered an exciting new chapter when it was purchased by Malcolm and Chris. Both are deeply passionate about the hospitality and brewing industry and had been searching for the right opportunity for several years. They wanted something community-focused, creative, and full of potential. Lake Mac Brewing Co. was exactly that.
Under their ownership, the focus remains on what has always mattered most: great beer and a great atmosphere. Malcolm and Chris are excited to showcase their own beers, while also celebrating the wider Lake Macquarie region and the incredible breweries that call it home. Collaboration, local pride, and a genuine love for the craft sit at the heart of everything they do.
